My mom used to take me
through a lot of hard work
and within my community
the trauma the people experienced
reclaimed or medicine
mostly just like at Christmas time
at funerals
impacts I could see
wakes and funerals
do for me
impact it had on people
at the local bar and grill
whatever outlets
